      At present, the commonly used methods for removing pesticide residues at home and abroad include biological, physical and chemical degradation removal methods. These methods can degrade and remove pesticide residues to varying degrees. And it mainly focuses on the degradation and removal of pesticide residues in soil and the environment. It is urgently needed in the current fresh fruit industry to seek a method that can directly, effectively and safely remove organochlorine pesticide residues from apples without affecting the safety of apples and with little impact on the quality of apples themselves.

      Now there is a safe and effective technical method for removing organochlorine pesticide residues from fresh apples by ultrasonic waves. Experimental verification has shown that under certain power, temperature and time conditions, the removal rate of organochlorine pesticide residues in apples by ultrasonic treatment has reached 59.24%, effectively eliminating the organochlorine pesticide residues in apples and enhancing their safety. During the process of treating apples with excessive pesticide residues using ultrasonic technology, researchers also conducted relevant evaluation studies on the impact of ultrasonic technology on the main qualities of apples. The results show that although ultrasonic treatment has a certain impact on the total sugar and total acid content of apples, it does not exceed the requirements of national standards and the standards of apples in major exporting countries.

      Experts say that because ultrasonic processing technology is simple and fast, it can be easily coupled and linked with existing fresh fruit cleaning, grading and waxing production lines. Therefore, the industrial application prospects of this technology are extremely broad.
